The Project

The research alliance TEMPOS ‘Performing temporary spaces for user driven innovation’ is fundet by the Danish Strategic Research Council. The research will be carried out during the years 2010 to 2014 with participation from the three partners in the alliance:

Design and Sustainable Transitions at the Dept. of Development and Planning, Aalborg University Cph.,

Co-design cluster at the Design School, Royal Shool of Architecture, and

Ethnology at the SAXO department, Copenhagen University.

Supported by three international researchers working with user involvement: Elisabeth Shove, Lancaster University, UK, Trevor Pinch, Cornell University, USA and Pelle Ehn, Malmö Högskola, Sweden.

“activities resulting in innovation are often temporary, provisional, situated, varied, and volatile”
